Straight answers about skydiving and adventure coordination in Minneapolis.
No experience is required. Tandem skydiving is designed for first-timers. You’ll receive a thorough ground training session before boarding, and your instructor handles all equipment and procedures during the jump. The only requirements are minimum age (usually 18) and weight limits, which we confirm during booking.
Safety is built into every step. All parachutes are packed by certified riggers and inspected on a strict schedule. Each aircraft undergoes daily checks, and jumps are only cleared after weather assessment. Instructors hold current USPA ratings, and every rig includes an automatic activation device as a backup. If conditions aren’t right, we postpone — no exceptions.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes that won’t slip off. Avoid loose jewelry and anything that could flap in the wind. We provide jumpsuits and all necessary gear. If you’re jumping in cooler weather, a thin layer under the suit is fine. We’ll brief you on specifics during check-in.
Yes. We offer coordinated adventure packages that pair skydiving with indoor tunnel time, guided rock climbing, or a full day of zip-lining and bouldering. Each package includes transport, safety briefings, and timing so you can focus on the experience. Check our adventure packages page for current options.
If weather conditions are unsafe — high winds, low clouds, or storms — we reschedule your jump at no extra cost. We monitor forecasts closely and communicate any changes as early as possible. Your safety is the priority, and we’ll work with you to find a new time that fits your schedule.
We focus on what matters most: preparation, coordination, and real safety standards. Here’s how we’re different.
We handle the planning, gear checks, weather reviews, and instructor scheduling. You show up ready to jump, not to manage details. Every step is timed and confirmed before you arrive.
Equipment is inspected before every use. Parachutes are packed by certified riggers. Weather conditions are evaluated on-site. If conditions aren’t right, we reschedule — no exceptions.
Our team has coordinated thousands of jumps. First-timers and returning jumpers alike rely on our process. We don’t cut corners, and we don’t rush the briefing.
“I was nervous, but the team walked me through every step. The gear check was thorough, and the instructor explained the whole sequence. I felt prepared, not scared.”
— Mark T., first-time tandem jumper
We coordinate jump times, transport, and post-jump debrief. No waiting around. No confusion. Just a clear schedule and a safe experience from start to finish.
Skydiveminneapolis acts as a coordination service for extreme experiences and adventure activities. We do not operate aircraft, maintain drop zones, or employ instructors directly. All jumps and activities are conducted by licensed third-party operators under their own safety protocols and insurance.
Participants must meet minimum age, weight, and health requirements set by the operating partner. A signed waiver is required before any activity. While we prioritize safety in planning and operator selection, inherent risks remain in all adventure sports. Our role is limited to coordination and scheduling.
Reservations are confirmed only after full payment is received by the operating partner. Cancellation policies vary by activity and provider. Weather-related cancellations are determined by the operator on the day of the event. Skydiveminneapolis is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by weather, equipment issues, or operator decisions.
Any claims, injuries, or disputes arising from an activity are the sole responsibility of the operating partner. Skydiveminneapolis does not provide insurance coverage for participants. We recommend that each participant verify their own insurance or purchase adventure sports coverage before booking.
